I too am a disabled veteran, of the Vietnam era, and yes, this did bring tears to my eyes. Our home was built with my disability (I am an amputee) in mind, and believe me, home modifications and specially-built homes do make a huge difference in the lives of my fellow veterans, who ask nothing more than to be able to live in dignity and to be able lead their lives as normally as possible. To those who help to build those homes and who make those veterans’ lives more comfortable, I say “Thank you!” To those who understand and who would like to help, I say “thank you and God bless you all.”
